We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team as a Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Social Worker in Hertfordshire Council.
About the role
As a Qualified Social Worker this is your opportunity to be part of our innovative countywide service. You will be at the frontline, triaging calls, collating and assessing partner information and making recommendations on outcomes.
The post is office based and the hours are structured, therefore, the need to work outside of normal hours are less likely in this role compared to other statutory social work teams. The work is fast paced and challenging, and you will learn something new every day!
Requirements:
- A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Extensive experience working within a safeguarding context, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, partner agencies, and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse complex information, assess risks, and make evidence-based decisions to safeguard the well-being of children and young people.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
