Are you an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker with a strong background in safeguarding? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the London Borough of Bromley as a Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team Manager.

At the London Borough of Bromley, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Qualified Social Work professional to lead our MASH team and oversee the coordination of safeguarding services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Social Workers and professionals within the MASH, ensuring the provision of high-quality safeguarding services.
• Coordinate the timely and effective assessment and response to safeguarding concerns, gathering information from various agencies and professionals.
• Ensure all referrals are triaged, assessed, and appropriate actions are taken to safeguard children and young people.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, such as the police, health services, and education, to facilitate joint working and information sharing.
• Oversee the allocation and prioritization of cases within the team, ensuring adherence to statutory guidelines and service standards.
• Provide guidance, support, and supervision to team members, promoting professional development and reflective practice.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of safeguarding interventions and processes, implementing improvements where necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and performance data, adhering to legal and organizational requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with registration and a valid Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body.
• Extensive experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably within a MASH or similar multi-agency setting.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection and safeguarding.
