Hybrid working

• We are based in Beautiful Salisbury, only a 10 minute walk into the city centre.
• We are a team made up of A Team Manager, 4 ATM’s, An ASYE Development Manager. Social workers and Family Key workers. We are supported by a dedicated admin team As a Social worker in the support and safeguarding team you will have the opportunity to work with children from the point of referral right through to permanency.
• Managing a diverse case load of child in need, Child Protection and court work. We are a large team covering the south of Wiltshire.
• We have a well-established management team, a stable and supportive team, reflective supervision, and hybrid working. We are working flexibly, and our workers complete a mixture of working at home and office based.
• Visits to children will take place across the south of Wiltshire.
• Social workers in the support and safeguarding team have a mixture of single assessment, child in need, Child Protection and court work.
• There is an opportunity to develop practice and experience with a variety of situations. We work closely with our partner agencies.
• We are co located with the police and work on the same floor as the officers in the Child Abuse Investigation Team.
• We have excellent relationships with local schools and health colleagues.
