TeacherActive is looking for a Qualified Teacher to work in an outstanding special School inAckworth. This school caters to young people in nursery, junior, senior, sixth form and boarding with severe, complex, or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school focuses on developing its student s communication, social interaction, life skills, and community access.

As a Teacher, your responsibilities will include planning lessons and delivering them on a 1:1 basis, supporting and developing SEN students, and catering your teaching to each student s needs. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile and keep every day exciting.

The ideal SEND QTS should have the following:

• QTS with experience in Special Educational Needs teaching
• A calm, patient, and caring persona
• Good behaviourmanagement
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with and supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
