A market leading Food Manufacturer is currently looking to recruit for 2 QA's due to ongoing company growth….

ROLE

Purpose

Food quality assurance centres around ensuring that food products meet the standards set by both the company and regulatory authorities. Daily duties include developing and reviewing existing safety and quality policies, inspecting the workplace for compliance and identifying any areas of concern, and preparing reports on food quality and safety to relay to contribute to continuous improvement within the business.

Responsibilities

• To work as a team to maintain the product of safe, legal, authentic and quality food in compliance with BRC higher level accreditation.
• To carry out verification activities throughout the process.
• To maintain and improve the environmental monitoring program.
• To maintain and improve the microbiological testing program.
• To maintain and verify the company’s PRP and HACCP programs.
• To audit records and documentation throughout the process.
• Product quality assurance activities.
• To assist operatives with food quality and safety on the production line.
• To assist with SOP training.
• Keep accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities.
• To undertake any duties set to you be the management team that will assist in the day to day running of the factory, providing appropriate training has been given.

CANDIDATE

You will ideally have previous QA/Technical experience although more important will be your desire to learn and develop your skill set.

This is working on a shift basis and may include nights and weekends rotating
