Quality Assurance Coordinator

Our client in Basingstoke is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their team on full time permanent basis. This is a newly created opportunity focussing on company quality and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out visual quality checks on products ensuring these meet the same standard as pre-production samples.

You will be working Monday-Friday either 7am until 3.30pm or 8am until 4.30pm.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage the testing program for the product range, ensuring Test Certificates & Declarations of Conformity are kept up to date.
• Manage company quality control processes including liaising with factories
• Ensure they are compliant with local and international standards, e.g., ICTI, Smetaetc.
• Keep up to date with upcoming global legislations and communicate to the wider business.
• Issue compliance documents to suppliers and customers as required
• Complete Customer questionnaires regarding vendor and product compliance.
• Review, update and maintain all Company policies (e.g., ethical, environmental) ensuring continuous improvement.
• Prepare packaging waste data for Customers and regulators when requested
