The Quality Assurance Engineer - Manufacturing based in North London will:
- Review product requirements, specification, technical design and testing with a view to plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning Strategy
- Perform regular internal audits against industry standard, world-class manufacturing criteria and co-ordinate and implement correctives, in collaboration with operational and technical teams.
- Accountable for the timely response to customer concerns and RMA requests, in accordance with Service Level Agreements and providing 8D reporting as and when required, in accordance with expected service levels.
- Generate Quality Assurance documentations: FMEA, PPAP, and test and audit reports
The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer - Manufacturing based in North London will have skills/experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a Quality Lead, Quality Auditor or Quality Engineer role in a high-volume engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Conversant with ISO 9001 and TS16949 Standards.
- Bachelors degree in a mechanical, electronic, systems or process engineering discipline or equivalent time-served technical qualification.
- Demonstrable knowledge of industry standard QM tools such as pFMEA, 8D, A3 Problem Solving.
- Able to understand precision, measurement methods and inspection techniques.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Experience of Tier 1 Automotive Supply
- ERP Conversant
- Advanced user of data analysis and visualisation tools e.g., MS Excel, VBA, MiniTab
