You will be responsible for leading a national software quality team, ensuring adequate funding, skill development, and active participation in quality assessments.
About the Role:
- Manage the small UK national Software Quality Assurance team to ensure the required level of Quality support and funding to the Quality Assurance programmes.
- Help to ensure that the team has the skills and capabilities needed to provide Quality Assurance to the Quality Assurance Engineering Directorate.
- Consolidate functional and project risks and issues.
- Be involved in ISO9000 and AS9100 assessments and in internal quality audits.
About You:
- You are an experienced Quality Assurance / Engineering professional with a good understanding of systems and software development practices.
- You have experience of managing a skilled and integrated team.
- You have been involved in ISO9000 and AS9100 assessments and in internal quality audit
- A defence, aerospace, automotive or manufacturing background would be desirable.
