Quality Assurance Manager for Oxfordshire based ‘Free From’ Food Manufacturer, leading the overall Quality standards of the company and its products, working towards gaining BRCGS accreditation. Hands on, site-based role with potential to work 1 day per week from home.
Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities for the role will include:
Adherence to Quality systems, legality and governance
Ensuring finished products are manufactured to customer standards
Managing audits
Maintaining & reporting on technical due diligence and business technical integrity
Leading the HACCP Team
Maintaining the Non-Conformance (NC) log
Updating product specifications
Organising Shelf life and Allergenic monitoring/testing
Maintaining organoleptic assessments
Conducting Risk assessment for new suppliers and maintaining existing supplier records
Essential / Desirable skills include:
Degree (or equivalent) in a food related area of study
Experience as a Quality Manager at a Food Manufacturing site
Responsibility to maintain BRCGS accreditation for the site
HACCP Level 3, plus experience as a HACCP team leader

The hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. The salary is circa £45k per annum.
