Quality Assurance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a specialist manufacturing business in Huddersfield that are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager. In a stand alone role, the Quality Assurance Manager will manage all relevant accreditations including ISO9001 and will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the highest quality standards. The business supply their products Worldwide and have a fantastic reputation across their customer base. 

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Quality Management System; including the development of our compliance procedures, conducting internal audits, non-conformance resolution, and advising management on potential risks, as well as leading on the Company’s environmental obligations. 

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain process QMS to ISO9001 Accreditation Quality Standards 
• Responsibility for identifying, reporting and raising process issues and identify resolution.
• Support production with best practice inspection techniques.
• Liaise with third party inspection services as required.
• Co-ordinate Quality Assurance activities to prevent the release on nonconforming products.
• Identify issues through internal department checks, carry out investigations and audits, identifying root cause and applying and following up corrective actions.
• Advise on the Company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reporting
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit actions and complaints investigation and resolution.
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks
• Assess company operations to determine risk
• Advise on company compliance to environmental regulations
• Present toolbox talks to employees on latest regulations and processes

I'm keen to speak to Quality Assurance Manager's with the following skillset:

• Proven Quality Assurance management experience within an engineering environment
• ISO901 experience, ideally an auditor
• Knowlegde of problem solving tools
• Strong communication skills
