The team
Business Energy Scotland is one of the key advice and support services at Energy Saving Trust and is funded by the Scottish Government to provide free and impartial support to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) save energy, carbon, and money.
As Scottish businesses try to overcome the twin challenges of record energy prices and playing their part in reducing carbon emissions, our work is more important than ever. The role
As part of a broad Quality Assurance remit, you will be responsible for the final quality checks that Business Energy Scotland energy efficiency assessment reports undergo before being issued to clients. You will act as a gatekeeper to ensure that all Business Energy Scotland reports meet strict quality standards for technical information and presentation.
What you’ll do:
- Undertake and own the process for carrying out final checks and technical review of bespoke energy efficiency assessment reports to ensure quality standards are met before they are issued to customers.
- Liaise between contracted external energy consultants, managers and the wider Business Energy Scotland team to maintain prompt and efficient throughput of assessment reports at scale.
- Provide Quality Assurance support to other Business Energy Scotland functions through activities such as call quality monitoring and process development.
- Take an active role in the Business Energy Scotland advice team by supporting the delivery of events, promotional activity, resolving customer enquiries, knowledge sharing and training.
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience of energy efficiency, low-carbon heat and renewable technologies in buildings.
- Demonstrable experience of upholding quality standards.
- Proven experience of delivering a high standard of customer service to surpass quality standards.
