Quality Assurance Officer
Our manufacturing clients based in Haslemere, have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their growing team. This is a newly created opportunity to join a proactive, growing business.
Core Responsibilities
* Work within the Quality team to implement strategies, and processes for continuous improvement. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
* Coordination of Quality Management Systems to maintain current approvals and work towards further certifications as required.
* Implement internal audit program, assessing the organisation against QMS. Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
* Coordination of regular quality team meetings, bringing colleagues of all departments together to share feedback, best practice and KPI target monitoring.
* Ensure that products and services meet the requirements of customers and internal quality standards.
* Monitor quality KPI targets and non-conformances throughout the business, analysing any trends. Recommend and monitor corrective /preventive actions with related departments.
* Identify and report on quality and CSR best practice within the business and externally within the supply chain.
* Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
* Collect and collate data from all departments for the Global CSR performance evaluation, to ensure the UK is developing initiatives and practices to support CSR regulations and ethical trade audits.
Required skills & experience:
* Experience within a Quality, Compliance or operational role
* QA Systems management experience
* QMS Auditor Qualification
* Experience working with chemicals or raw materials (desired)
