Who You'll Be Working for: An international leader in household products.
Quality Assurance Officer - Main responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of the QMS (Quality Management System) in PHC (Primary Health Care) in UK and Ireland
- Act as QA (Quality Assurance) contact for the company's Service Management Office
- Ensure all standard operating procedures related to quality are updated
- Ensure product returns from complaints are requested and forwarded to the lab or manufacturing site for further investigation
- Liaise with 3PLs (Third Party Logistics) ant other internal functions on quality issues of products
- Monitoring and reporting of quality metrics
- Support the development of the annual self-inspection schedule and supplier audit plan
- Support the preparation and coordination on internal audits and authority inspections
- Work closely with Consumer Advice Team, local Supply Chain Management Team
- Communicate with relevant PHC functions
- Cooperating with Marketing and Sales Team, also, company's internal manufacturing sites
- Working closely with Local Regulatory Affairs, Local Medical Affairs
- Communicating with company's customers/distributors of PHC UK and Ireland
- Contract Manufacturing organisations working for the company in the UK
Quality Assurance Officer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- QA experience or relevant experience in Pharmaceutical / Food Supplement sector or industries - mandatory
- Working knowledge of principals and concepts of QA - including Risk Based Quality Assurance - desired
- Working knowledge of medical product and/ or food supplement manufacture - desired
- Understanding of Quality Managements Systems and processes in a regulatory environment - desired
- Good organisational, communication, presentation skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Intermediate IT skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Fluency in written and spoken English
