Role: Quality Assurance officer
Location: Epsom, Surrey
Salary: £31 000 plus benefits
Shift Pattern – 4 On 4 off.
Hours – 07:00 – 19:00
We are actively seeking for experienced food production professionals with meticulous attention to detail for a Quality Assurance officer position in the UK's fast-paced food industry. Our client, a leading Food manufacturer, is currently accepting applications.
Roles and responsibilities
In this role you will be reporting to the Technical Team leader and your role will encompasses helping with the implementation of food safety and quality standards on site and to ensure that they are always adhered to.
· You will be responsible for quality checks and Quality Assurance for all the products on site.
· Take part in hygienic sampling and environmental swabs.
· Take part in internal audits.
· Raise any non-conformances and take part in the investigation.
Requirements
- Company is looking for an individual from a Food production background and has knowledge of quality control. Ideally experience with high-risk products.
- Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
- Knowledge and experience in HACCP and GMP within the food industry.
- Experience with internal audits is ideal.
