Specialist Manufacturing & Engineering recruiter Martin Anthony Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturer. They are looking for a Quality Engineer to drive quality within our product range.
The ideal candidate will have experience in CMM Programming.
Quality Engineer responsibilities:
- Support production by investigating non-forming products and putting in place corrective and preventative actions.
- Be actively involved in activity associated with NPI, engineering change and source change.
- Ensure all PPAPs and FAIRs are completed in the correct format for the customer.
- Investigate and resolve customer & supplier problems.
- Generate & review Procedures, Quality Plans, Process FMEAs, Control Plans, Inspection Plans, SOPs etc
- Report departmental KPIs.
- Audit both internally and supply chain.
- Handle product & process approvals and authorisation.
- Provide technical support & liaise between Quality, Engineering, and other departments.
- To control the CMM programs
- Produce new CMM programs to drawings and engineering layout, for new and updated components.
- Review existing programs to establish effectiveness, accuracy, and correct output to drawings (nominals and tolerances).
Quality Engineer Experience:
- Must be an experienced Quality Engineer
- Experience ideally with machined parts
- CMM Programming experience
