Quality Engineer's Roles & Responsibilities
* Oversee, investigate, and document all customer returns, ensuring a comprehensive reporting process.
* Conduct audits of goods in/quarantine/samples, inspecting assembly and sub-assembly products as needed to guarantee compliance with specifications and requirements.
* Monitor and report on QA testing, actively tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Kennedy.
* Undertake CSR tasks within the business when necessary.
* Proactively collaborate with the purchasing team to monitor and report on timely supplier returns, ensuring a seamless follow-through to replacements or credits.
* Lead the management and enforcement of quality assurance standards and procedures, aligning with ISO9001 and ISO14001.
* Serve as the QA point of approval for the ECN/SOE process.
* Collaborate on continuous improvement projects with the QA Manager.
* Provide QA support to other departments as required.
* Engage in additional projects with the QA Manager when necessary.
Quality Engineer's Skills Required:
* Strong communication skills, demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
* Possess over 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance functions.
* Proven track record of working in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
* Extensive experience with ISO9001/ISO14001 standards.
* Adept at root cause investigation and problem-solving.
* Expertise in goods in/product inspection processes.
* Familiarity with interpreting and working with technical drawings.
* Auditor trained
Quality Engineer's Benefits
* Salary: £30k - £35k (DOE)
* Mon to Thurs 830AM to 5PM and Fri 830AM to 3PM
