Quality Engineer (Quality, Environment and Continuous Improvement)
Salary: £35k + bonus + company benefits
Location: Uckfield (office based)
Hours: Mon-Thu 8.30am -4.45pm and Fri 8.30-15.15pm

If so, I am currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer that has worked within quality assurance within a fast manufacturing working environment based in their busy site based in Uckfield.
You will already have a background QA and be a natural problem solver with a background of dealing with technical drawings with goods in and product inspection background.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, Investigate, and report on all customer returns.
- Manage the development and compliance of quality assurance standards and procedures in line with ISO9001 & ISO14001.
- Goods in/Quarantine/Samples audit inspection of assembly & sub assembly products where required to ensure they comply to specification and within requirements.
- Drive corrective & preventative actions to address QA issues and enhance overall QA performance.
- Undertake supplier quality reviewing and visits to ensure highest quality supply chain.
- Report & monitoring of QA testing.
- CSR Taks within business where required.
- Proactively monitor and report with purchasing to ensure timely supplier returns and follow through to replacements/credits.
- QA point of approval for ECN/SOE process.
- Continuous Improvement projects with QA Manager.
- Provide QA support to other departments where required.
- Work on other projects with QA Manager where necessary.

- Proven background within a QA function within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Goods in and product inspection.
- Ideally trained auditor.
- Dealt with technical drawings.
- Ideally ISO9001/ISO14001 experience
- Personable, self-motivated and enjoy working within a close-knit team.
