Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in France

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality assurance and quality control activities as specified in the agreed Project Quality Plan.
• Coordinate all Quality Control activities as defined in the approved Inspection, Test and Audit Plan (ITAP) for the assigned projects.
• Implement the necessary quality measures within assigned projects.
• Coordinate all inspection activities for the assigned projects using a risk assessment approach and mindset.
• Follow-up on issued reports of all inspections carried out including related open points and non-conformities.
• Coordinate a list of open points for the assigned projects.
• Follow-up on actions needed to close out punches / observations due to inspection activities during the project.
• Review quality documentation submitted by subcontractors and OEMs.
• Escalate quality issues, significant quality deviations and non-conformities to QM.
• Report assigned projects' quality updates to QM and include him in quality related decision making.
• Work as internal quality interface on the assigned projects.
• Complete the project quality deliverables in a cooperative environment with the project team members.
• Interface towards OEMs and subcontractors with regards to quality tasks.
• Verification that Quality Control Plans (QCP) for BOP activities and OEM ITAP for WTG are properly executed.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in quality management
• Basic knowledge in quality codes and standards (IS0 9001) as well as technical documentation for BoP or WTG.
• Proven to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships.
• High motivation, Team oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities (RCA, 8D).
• Proactive and reliable, structured, and self-confident.
• Business fluent French and English.
