Excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established, local company where you will have the chance to develop your career and work within a specialist team.
This company have been established for over 40 years, specialising within metal casting. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to work within their Quality Engineering team.
In this role you report to the Quality Manager, maintaining and developing continuous improvement by implanting process controls, carrying out data analysis; improving the reliability of manufacturing processes and equipment, identify root cause analysis, liaise with stakeholders
The ideal individual will be an experienced Quality Engineer ideally from aerospace, automotive, precision machining or foundry industry looking to join a well-established, family feel company.

The Role:

• Managing quality systems, Internal audits, implementing 8d/root cause analysis, liaising with stakeholders
• Woking across two manufacturing plants (both within walking distance of each other)
• 38hrs a week, flexible working hours
• Holidays 25 plus BH, Life Assurance - 1 x salary upon hire and then 2 x after 12 months pension standard contribution after 3 months probation.

The Person:

• Quality Engineer
• Measurement experience (Faro Arm highly advantageous)
• Good communication and IT skills
• Previous experience working within a foundry advantageous but not essential, transferable industries include automotive, aerospace, precision machining
