Quality Engineer

2BM Recruitment are working in partnership with our client in Sheffield to recruit a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis. Excellent opportunity within an established manufacturing company that has exciting growth plans offering career progression opportunities for the future.
Quality Engineer role responsibilities:
Maintain and Audit: Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 are maintained and audited throughout the plants for the quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems. Manage internal & external audits and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Quality Assurance and Safety: Align teams, production, and products with QA and SHE standards.
Problem Solving and Analysis: Support manufacturing problem-solving. Analyse root causes for quality concerns and implement swift resolutions.
Accident Investigations: Assist in accident and near miss investigations and implement preventive actions, whilst continually improving site safety standards working towards zero accidents.
Customer Satisfaction: Set and uphold customer quality expectations ensuring product and service standards are met.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:
Candidates must have previous experience in a quality related position within manufacturing, engineering or similar. Applicants will ideally be degree qualified or equivalent in Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental or Engineering discipline.
NEBOSH certificate is desired, Quality auditing with a working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and implement improvements across manufacturing sites.
Your Pay & Benefits:
Quality Engineer is a fulltime, permanent opportunity paying circa £35k - £40k per annum (negotiable depending on skills and experience) plus bonus & excellent benefits package.
