Quality Engineer

Our client
Our client is a complex and expanding engineering business looking to expand their team with the appointment of an additional Quality Engineer.  
The opportunity
As Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Manager and play a key role in supporting development of effective manufacturing and quality processes as they continue to secure more work with both existing and new clients.  You will work closely throughout the plant to continue to develop effective quality systems and processes to deliver high quality product to customers on time in full.  
About you
As an experience Quality Engineer, you will have extensive experience in the development of ITP's and quality plans from product design and the ability to explain complex quality/engineering issues effectively from the shop floor to senior leadership team.  Previous experience gained in engineering design led manufacturing or more bespoke manufacturing would be advantageous.  
This is a high profile business in Newcastle, that continues to secure new contracts with both existing & new customers that can offer scope to add real value as the quality team continues to evolve.
