Role Overview: As the Quality Improvement & Education Manager, you will play a pivotal role in championing the highest performance standards across the Southend City College. You'll be a key member of our management team, entrusted with the responsibility of steering our quality assurance and improvement systems to new heights. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning with our College's strategic and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on developing and implementing the highest teaching, learning and assessment standards by supporting Schools with delivery of Quality Improvement strategies to contribute to improved student success. This will involve a variety of strategies including but not limited to: Teaching, Learning and Assessment Reviews, IQA, verification and ensuring full compliance with all awarding body criteria. You will monitor performance and identify opportunities for securing outstanding outcomes for all learners.
- Work closely with College management teams and lead on developing and delivering initiatives designed to drive improvements in learner outcomes. In addition this role will focus on leading the English and Maths curriculum covering 16-19 Study Programmes, A Levels, Adult (including HE) and Apprentices.
- Responsibility for provision of engaging Continual Professional Development for academic staff you will work closely with the College Principals, Executive Director Quality & Performance, Head of Teaching & Learning and Executive Director of Curriculum.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment conducive to innovation and excellence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £48,000.00 per year
