SalaryMy client provides high precision CNC Milling/Turning and ancillary services to a variety of high-tech industries including Formula 1, Nuclear Safety and Science & Technology. They are currently on the lookout for a Quality Inspector to join their ever-growing team based in Oxford.
You will be taking control of all aspects of quality control from material supply through thorough checking off in-process inspection, to final delivery along with a disciplined and hands on approach to dimensional inspection.
Responsibilities:
- In-Process inspection (During Manufacture)
- Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection
- Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001
- Overseeing goods in/out inspection
- Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures
- Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review
- Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production and inspection
Requirements:
- Ideally you will be an experienced CNC Machinist/programmer with an Inspection background
- You will be fully familiar with and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment
- Good communication skills both internally and to outside agencies by telephone/email
- Supporting the production team striving for 100% quality
On Offer:
- Up to £38K per annum
- Monday to Thursday 8am 4:30pm and Friday 8am 1pm
- Occasional overtime
