WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR are engineering our highly integrated Battery Management Control Module (BMCM for our next generation of electrified vehicles. In this role you will be working in an Agile environment where you will ensure all commodity systems across all platforms are compliant with Programme Quality practices and adhere to technical standards.
This will entail the collation of stakeholders’ requirements with system Technical Specialists, the design of the implementation strategy to meet them and the dissemination of the sub-requirements to the various commodities to meet the strategic direction.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Validation of root cause and escape point analysis of from failures identified within programmes and warranty.
- Implement and deliver JLR prevent recurrence process.
- Form part of sign-off team for all standards to ensure quality of delivery before implementation.
- Determining and implementing the strategy for meeting any phased-in system Quality requirements
- Support of Company Quality actions to implement SCSS cascades to manufacturing & Supplier.
- Commodities and Systems quality practises and toolset, requirements and delivery Governance including FMEA, RMDV & APQP.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Essential:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience in delivery Quality toolsets including FMEA & APQP
- Experience in data driven technical reporting.
- Understanding of AC/DC, DC/DC topologies and ability to assess correct solutions.
- Understanding of System verification methods
