We are supporting a leading, global, chemical manufacturer in their search for a senior Quality professional to lead on APQP initiatives for best in class manufacturing and research. SA
Quality Leader you will report to the Global Director and be instrumental in delivering best practice at the Cambridge facility, while supporting other regional sites. This will be a challenging and demanding role which offers excellent career advancement opportunities.
Core duties include:
- Mentor Project Managers on risk and change management and other Advanced Quality Tools related to projects for New Product Development, New Product Introduction, Transfer of Work, and Change Projects.
- Plan the strategy to bring about the standardisation and sustain in all regional sites for APQP, ensuring that the execution is compliant to the strategy
- Use feedback for continual improvement of the business' APQP methodology
- Manage customer expectations or negotiate an agreed compromise on APQP deliverables
- Lead, through APQP philosophies, ensuring that products are robust and capable
You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in APQP implementation and have first rate skills in stakeholder management.
