Are you a Quality Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience within a Manufacturing environment? Working closely with the Production Manager and reporting directly to the MD, you will have responsibility for managing the QMS and ensuring that processes and products not only fully comply but exceed customer expectations.
Ideally you should have experience with electro-mechanical instrumentation or within highly regulated industries.
On a day to day basis you should expect to be involved in:
- Co-ordinating external audits
- Continually evolving best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO9001:2015 certification
- Overall responsibility for the Quality and Procedure Manuals (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Co-ordinating and supporting all QA and QC activities
- Managing all customer quality improvement initiatives
- Leading supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives
- The quality control aspects of production and calibration, service and inspection activities and processes
- Leading root cause analysis and preventative actions
- Supporting New Product Development activities
What do we need from you?:
- Five years minimum experience as a Quality manager or similar role.
- Experience with Quality Assurance Management processes.
- Knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills experienced in 7D analysis
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Qualified ISO internal auditor
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
