We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join a leading automotive parts manufacturing business. This role involves undertaking warranty investigations on automotive engine components and determining the validity of warranty claims. The successful candidate will have a good basic mechanical knowledge, particularly in pumps and injectors, and will be responsible for providing detailed written reports on their findings. Day-to-day of the Mechanical Inspector:
• Conduct thorough warranty investigations on automotive engine components.
• Assess the integrity of components and determine the validity of warranty claims.
• Compile and provide comprehensive written reports to all relevant parties.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to understand the functionality of pumps and injectors.
• Work methodically to identify issues and solve problems effectively.
• Operate within a day shift pattern, enjoying an early finish on Fridays.
