Staffline have a great opportunity to work as a Quality Technician for a leading food manufacturer based in the West Midlands.
The rate of pay is between £25,000 and £28,000 depending on experience.
This role is Maternity Cover for 12 months.
You will work fixed shifts-
Monday to Thursday 8am-17:15pm
And on a Friday 8am-16:00pm.
Your Time at Work
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out unit internal calibration
- Liaise with engineering re external calibration (ensure accuracy of asset register for calibration) Complaints collation
- Assist with complaints investigation
- Carry out allocated internal audits as scheduled
- Collate paperwork and ensure they are verified before submitting for scanning
- Sample collection for relevant testing (product, environmental, allergen)
- Assist process technology with process validations
- Liaise with engineers re water samples
- Log results and trend ready for monthly report
- Management of Ecolab and chase corrective actions
- GMP inspections
- Glass/hard plastic inspections
- Support line leaders on the factory floor
- Verify process control checks carried out on the factory floor
- Raw material sampling schedule
- Running of taste panels
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS
- Makes decisions on the factory floor regarding conformance of product to specification
- Coaches operational colleagues and encourages employment of safe practices on the factory floor
Our Perfect Worker
· At least 1 years'+ experience in a Quality role with experience within electronics highly desirable
Essential .
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality standards- Desirable.
· Experience using software desirable.
· Excellent communication and liaison skills.
· Ability to work professionally with production team including operators and supervision on quality matters.
