Who we are looking for.
Working as a member of the Quality department, the Quality Technician will be a key support team member that helps to deliver critically important aspects of our quality management system. You will take ownership of a planned program of core daily activities and be assigned specific areas of individual responsibility. This is a development position within the Quality Department.
Key Accountabilities:
- Quality Management System documentation.
- Supporting compliance with customer, legal and certification scheme requirements.
- Root cause analysis and Quality KPI continuous improvement support
- Internal & External Audit support.
- Factory quality control checks and inspections
- Data handling, analysis, reporting, and record keeping.
- Any other relevant duties deemed necessary by a Quality Manager

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- A Level (or equivalent) in a scientific subject (chemistry preferred)
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent), grade C and above, (chemistry preferred)
- Experience of Data handling and analysis
- Experience of working in a busy, ‘hands-on’ based environment
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Excel and Word
Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Degree in a scientific subject (chemistry preferred)
- 1 years or more experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance
- Experience of root cause analysis
- Experience of record keeping and reporting
- Knowledge of quality systems/feed industry/markets/customers
Desirable Competencies
- Basic knowledge of animal nutrition
