Role Overview: We are seeking a Quantitative Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently conducting quantitative finance research, focusing on statistical and predictive models. This role encompasses the entire research process, including methodology selection, data collection and analysis, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in evaluating new datasets for alpha potential, implementing models in C++/Python/Q, monitoring the daily trading process, and actively contributing to the enhancement and improvement of the trading system.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct independent quantitative finance research, emphasizing statistical and predictive models.
Manage all aspects of the research process, from methodology selection to performance monitoring.
Evaluate new datasets for alpha potential.
Implement models using C++/Python/Q.
Monitor the daily trading process.
Contribute to enhancing and improving the trading system.
Desired Candidate Profile: We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
MSc/PhD in finance, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
0-3 years of experience in a Quantitative Research role.
Strong programming skills.
Robust analytical and quantitative abilities.
Demonstrated capacity for independent research using large datasets.
Detail-oriented.
Willingness to take ownership of work, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
