Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their commercial team in a national/hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve the supply chain for project procurement
- Manage factory manufacturing orders and costs, subcontract procurement process, scope analysis against client specifications, tender reconciliation, subcontractor comparisons, formation of order, review of commercial terms, and contract
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate all monthly subcontract project interim and final accounts using database software and Excel spreadsheets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Forecast Final Accounts for monthly presentation to clients
- Provide input and support for contract negotiation under NHS Frameworks utilizing JCT formats & bespoke contracts
- Manage Risk and Opportunity and present at the CVR
- Promote and evolve financial control measures
- Forecast cash flow and margin recognition

Requirements:
- Quantity Surveyor degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrable track record working for a Design and Build Contractor
- Comfortable with a high degree of interaction with clients as well as internal stakeholders.
- Previous demonstrable experience managing construction projects, with full accountability for commercial delivery.
- Understanding of relevant commercial and contract law.
The salary for this position is circa £50,000p/a (dependant on experience), this is a full time permanent position.
