We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor, with experience working on hospital / healthcare construction projects, to work for one of our trusted partners on an 8-10 week contract at Aintree Hospital in Fazakerley, Liverpool. There are 4 new schemes due to start on the site, which include ward refurbs and roofing works. Your presence will be required on site full time Mon - Fri.

Responsibilities
- Sending out enquiries.
- Tender analysis.
- Control and administration of sub-contractor packages and orders.
- Monitor labour, plant and materials spend.
- Manage & monitor costs and ensure projects are completed within their projected budget.
- Conducting site surveys (re-measure) & creating progress reports, cost plans and cashflow forecasts.
- Preparation of and making applications for payments.
- Attending site and client meetings.
- Liaison with client and project management team with respect to cost control on the projects.
- Undertake value engineering where required by client.
- Change management.
- Ensure client variations and technical queries are obtained and valued correctly.
- Produce monthly cost reports.
- Managing on site records.
Requirements
- Must have experience working on similar construction / refurb projects (Hospitals, healthcare, NHS etc).
- Must have NEC contract experience.
- 5+ years operating as QS / Senior QS.
- HND / HNC or degree in quantity surveying.
- Excellent communication and organisation.
- Computer literate e.g. Microsoft office suite.
