SalaryMy client, a leading main contractor based in Co. Down requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work closely with the senior management team.
By joining this organisation, there is a long-term opportunity to progress within this organisation and be involved on projects up to £10M.
Sectors the company works in include Education, Healthcare & Commercial all based within Northern Ireland.
You will be based in Co. Down with work-from-home options available.
- Being able to provide commercial support to the Design team and Contract staff
- Prepare final accounts and contract charges
- Prepare valuations for interim application for payment
- Be able to prepare budget costs and process for contract variations
- Remeasuring Bills of Quantities
- Ensuring that contract cashflow is constantly maintained
- Liaise with Senior Management regarding contract accounts
- Checking material sizes and quantities for procurement
- Setting up and maintaining contract files
- Preparing turnover and profit forecasts
The successful Quantity Surveyor will possess:
- Strong numeracy & communication skills
- Degree/ HND in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience within the contracting industry
- Strong commercial acumen
- Managed packages through to final account
- Main contracting background is preferable
