Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a remote position, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive expense coverage for food, hotels, and travel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing complex frameworks and demanding clients within the retail sector.
Responsibilities:
Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring their expectations are met and projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Project Frameworks: Oversee and manage retail fit-out projects within established frameworks, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines.
Remote Working: Effectively manage quantity surveying responsibilities in a remote setting, maintaining communication and collaboration with the team.
Site Attendance: Attend project sites across the UK as required (approximately once a month on average).
Technical Expertise: Utilize extensive technical expertise in quantity surveying to resolve complex issues and provide strategic insights.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor in the retail fit-out sector.
Confidence: Ability to handle difficult clients, frameworks, and challenging projects.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in quantity surveying, cost management, and project delivery.
Client Portfolio: Previous experience with high-profile clients, preferably within the retail and commercial sector.
