Within our Capital Commercial Department, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Waste Treatment team. This role can be based from any of our capital hubs, Shrewsbury, Derby or Coventry.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for Quantity Surveyors who are up for something different, to join a successful, diverse and highly engaged team within our Capital Commercial team.
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- The ability to define and execute procurement strategies
- Administer and review tender processes
- You will be able to analyse cost and program submissions
- Lead negotiation plans with our supply chain and develop and agree on contract terms and conditions
- Ensure stakeholder engagement and expectation management
- Administer executed contracts, including payment applications, risk management, and dispute resolution
- Review and approve final accounts
- Ensure auditable compliance with commercial governance processes
Additional areas for potential leadership within the function:
- Management of Framework Documents, Works Orders, Services Orders, Secondment Agreements, e-Sourcing, and SAP
- Monthly reporting and savings tracking
- Management of supply chain partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders
