With a strong track record of delivering high-quality results, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Central London.
Job Description:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting cost estimates and budget planning for projects in the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
- Managing project finances, monitoring costs, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities and tender documents.
- Assessing subcontractor quotations and negotiating contracts.
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure project cost control and compliance.
- Collaborating with project managers and other team members to maintain project progress and quality standards.
- Contributing to the overall success and profitability of projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within residential, commercial, and hospitality fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software for quantity surveying.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in various locations around London.
