Salary: £50,474.00-£54,551.00 per year, Depending on Experience. (Plus, Performance Bonus)
About The Company:
Based in East London, Barking and has been open since January 2014 however their experience spans more than 50 years combined. Over the years they have managed and completed various projects inside and outside of London for various clients such as housing associations and London councils. They operate everywhere inside London, and they can travel outside M25 area as well. Here at E&C, they can undertake projects from internal/external refurbishments and maintenance to new builds. They also have capacity and resources to undertake any domestic electrical project as well as commercial/residential emergency lighting, as we have their own in-house electricians, and they are registered by NICEIC as a company.
About The Role:
The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates, monitoring project costs, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Duties:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project information.
- Review and evaluate contractor bids and proposals.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities of materials used.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to cost control and project progress.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Skills:
- Extensive on-site knowledge.
- Extensive knowledge of general construction.
- Extensive experience working NHF rates.
