SalaryBased in Liverpool, my client specialise in providing Facilities Management, Energy Services and Project Delivery to their customers who include healthcare, educational and local authority organisations.
They require a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a 3 month basis initielly working on a £1m refurb scheme including the M&E package.
The successful candidate will be flexible, self-motivated and take pride in delivering quality.
You'll be working from their head office in Liverpool with visits to site too, this is a full time position initially for 3 months with the potential to be extended.
Responsibilities
Prepare and issue subcontract enquiries & packages including taking off quantities from drawings
Carry out analysis, assessment, and comparison of subcontractors' quotations.
Prepare and submit tender documents.
Preparing valuations for interim and final payment applications.
Monitoring site costs and variations.
Manage sub-contractor / material supplier databases
Attending sites for valuations and site surveys.
Assist with contract and company cash flow.
Qualifications & Experience
HNC, HND or BSC in Quantity Surveying (or similar related course / relevant construction industry experience)
Previous experience working in a contractor's role (minimum 3 years essential) ideally within M&E or renewable energy
Experience of estimating projects is essential.
