How broad is your experienced with different types of contracts?

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to prepare costs estimates, negotiating contracts and agreements, management of supply chain accounts, monitoring of financial performance of each project.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £50K P/A, depending on experience.

This is a Full Time, Permanent role. 37 – 40 Hours per week.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Review of tender documents, ensuring bid compliance
• Carry out estimating duties from raising enquiries to holding final tender adjudications.
• Identifying value engineering solutions.
• Produce costs plans from conceptual or details drawings.
• Sending out enquiries to subcontractors/suppliers for a,, required materials and trades.
• Carry out site surveys to review tender requirements.

The ideal candidate:

• Highly knowledgeable about building materials, construction methods and construction contracts.
• Possess skills of a financial advisor, able to save costs without lowering quality or standards.
• Member of CICES or RICS
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
• Excellent attention to detail

• At least 3 years experience
