Your new company
Your new company is a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced media advertising agency who, due to expansion, have opened up a second office in Manchester City Centre. Due to the opening of the 2nd office, they're now looking to recruit a number of finance professionals to join their ever-growing finance function, one of which is a Financial Accountant.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering financial activity for the business. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and be timely and accurate in your delivery of reporting, accounting and controls. You will be focused on driving best practice to enable effective process improvement and have the opportunity to be involved in decision-making for wider business implementation. You will prepare financial statements, perform variance analysis and manage the full record to report process.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive within this exciting business, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience working within a large complex business. You will be experienced in financial reporting and be well versed in accounting principles such as IFRS. You will be a strong communicator with a proactive approach and a positive attitude and be driven to progress in your career. You must have exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, along with the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment. Shared Service Centre experience would be highly preferred.
