Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary Academy based in Croydon, London, are looking for an experienced and inspiring RE Teacher who can deliver lessons in KS3, KS4 and KS5 or has humanities experience. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable and outstanding-rated school and join their experienced and well-organised team. This position is to start after the Easter half-term on a temporary basis till the end of the academic year.Your new role
Starting after Easter half-term, you will be responsible for teaching KS3-KS5 RE lessons and might be asked to cover other general subjects. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess UK Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching RE across all key stages or humanities experience. Must have highly positive two most recent references.You must be available to start as soon as possible till the end of the academic year on a full-time basis, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.What you'll get in return
