My client is seeking a Solicitor with 2-5 years’ of PQE to bolster their Real Estate Disputes team. Ideal candidates will possess a comprehensive legal background, particularly in advising both residential and commercial landlords and tenants.
Key areas of expertise include:
• Handling various aspects of commercial landlord and tenant relations such as break notices, dilapidations, rent reviews, and forfeiture.
• Experience in business lease renewals.
• Proficiency in managing possession proceedings, claims against squatters, adverse possession, trespass, nuisance, easements, and prescriptive rights.
• Dealing with breaches of covenants, such as failure to obtain Landlord's consent on assignment, underletting, alterations, etc., or Landlord's failure to fulfill obligations under the Lease.
• Familiarity with First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) proceedings.
• TOLATA claims.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, providing effective legal counsel without constant supervision.
