Conekt Legal is delighted to be partnering with our a client, one of Scotland's leading independent law firms to recruit a Real Estate Solicitor/Associate into their established practice. This role would suit a solicitor, 2 + years PQE with previous property experience.

The Role

Working as part of this established team the Real Estate Solicitor/Associate will work closely with clients and advise them on a broad range of Real Estate transactions. More specifically this will involve drafting and negotiating a range of commercial leases, manage Real Estate transactions to include carrying out due dilligence on property titles through to negotiation of property purchase and sale contracts, drafting ane negotiation of servitudes, wayleaves and other documents. You will also be required to get involved in any team networking activities and mentoring trainee solicitors. 

You will be!

- Qualified Solicitor - 2 + years PQE

- You will have had some previous property experience, it is ideal this is commercial property however we will also consider solicitors with residential experience keen to make the move into more of a commercial property role

- Exceptional communication skills with strong negotiation skills

- Technically strong drafting skills with previous experience of drafting property contracts

- Highly organised and able to effectively manage a busy workload
