About the Role
Reporting into the Governance and Integrity Team Lead, you will provide Royal Mail with Accurate Property Data and ensure all property leases are recognised to IFRS16 Accounting Standards. You will manage a team of two administrators who you will support daily.
You will ensure the integrity of the data across c2000 sites, making sure the Property and Estates related processes are fit for purpose and utilised in the most efficient manner. You will also be responsible for the accurate Interpretation, validation, and processing of specific property information from third parties and input this into the relevant system.
You will also
- Ensure all master and transactional data is processed accurately and timely, and all controls and reconciliations take place before reporting commences.
- Adhere to all key KPI’s and ensure SLAs are achieved with data suppliers and liaise with the suppliers to ensure that issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Develop and deploy agreed process improvements to deliver performance improvement
- Ensure all process and control documentation is in place, evidenced and reviewed to a specified timeframe, to support both internal and external control process.
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:
- Knowledge of the IFRS16 accounting standard and SAP
- Experience of data and information management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to present complex data to a wide audience.
- Able to communicates clearly with an understanding of potential impact both nationally and locally.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft office products specifically Excel.
- Builds relationships and influences people, including those in virtual team.
- Ability to carry out data reconciliations and be flexible in their approach.
- AAT qualification or relevant experience is preferred
