We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Reception & Reservations Executive to join our team. As the first and last point of contact with our guests, you must have a genuine warmth and passion for delivering hospitality and ensuring our guests receive an exceptional guest experience.
Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your role will include:
- Being knowledgeable about the facilities and services across the Resort, and confident in providing relevant and up-to-date information to our guests
- Handling all reservations in a timely and professional manner, taking every opportunity to enhance the guest experience and maximise on revenue
- Responding to emails and telephone calls in a courteous and positive manner
- Delivering a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experience
- Having a comprehensive knowledge of the front office computer systems
- Maintaining good communication with other members of your team and all departments across the Resort, assisting other departments as required
- Effective cash handling and processing of payments and refunds
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A polite, friendly and engaging manner with excellent communication skills
- A passion for hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
- Immaculate standards of presentation and professionalism
- Strong organisation and planning skills with a good ability to prioritise and a high degree of flexibility
- Good IT skills and experience working with Excel spreadsheets and Word
- A commercial focus
Stoke by Nayland Resort is part of the family-owned Boxford Group, which has been established for over 80 years. Due to our location, nestled in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), having your own transport is essential.
As part of the Reception & Reservations team, hours will include regular weekend shifts as well as early shifts and late shifts, finishing at 10pm.
