About the Role: As a Reception SEND Teaching Assistant at our school in Hammersmith, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a child with ASD on a 1-2-1 basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life and develop your career.
Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a Reception pupil with SEN.
Implement effective communication techniques tailored to the child's needs.
Assist the child in their daily activities and learning tasks.
Support the child's active participation in class and recreational activities.
Be prepared to provide personal care when necessary.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Reception SEND Teaching Assistant
Knowledge of PECS
Strong understanding of communication strategies
Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Ability to adapt and work closely with the teaching team and parents.
Relevant qualifications in education and training are a plus.
Salary: We offer a competitive daily rate of 85- 105 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
