Reception Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a Reception teacher to start in April for a primary school in Wolverhampton.

Contract type: Long-term | Full-time

Your new school is focused on creating confident, enthusiastic learners who have a broad range of knowledge and skills that will prepare them for their future learning journey. They recognise that every child is an individual who has individual needs that will affect their learning. You will be teaching a reception class that has children with autism and additional needs.
We are looking for a Reception Teacher who can:

• Plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum
• Build and maintain a caring and nurturing environment where all children are encouraged to flourish.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
• Manage a team of support staff
• Teach and manage a class of SEND children

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• At least two years of experience teaching in early years or KS1, preferably in reception.
• A passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to continuous professional development
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude
• 2 years' worth of child-related references.
