Receptioniast (37.5 hrs pw)

Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based BT9 area of Belfast require a Full-time Medical Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent

Duties:

• Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
• Answer all telephone calls
• Process prescription requests; file and hand out prescriptions to patients
• General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
• Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact
• 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
• Fully computer literate
• Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays
• Experience in a medical environment working with EMIS Web (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given

37.5 hours per week Mon – Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm

£11.44 per hr
