What you will be responsible for:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the multi-professional team
with regards to answering the main phone, taking and relaying clear and accurate
message's, assist in the processing of clinical documentation, managing queries
and data entry - To deliver a high standard of customer care representative of the service main
reception area greeting and assisting service users and visitors as well as
ensuring the clean, tidy and safe running of the reception area. - Supervise the House-keeper and oversee and support domestic staff and duties.
- Support the collection and updating of specific service related information and
activity to ensure required Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are input in a timely
fashion onto required systems. - Assist with non-clinical processes which need to be undertaken in order to
support clinical teams and the overall service deliver quality patient care.
You will learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in managing reception calls and face to face
- Able to communicate with team members and completing admin tasks from nurses
- Previous knowledge of EPJS desirable
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
