Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate, CT9 4AN
Hours: 37.5 hours, Mon - Fri, a mixture of 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm & 10am - 6pm
Some weekend work is required on a rota basis. Either one full weekend once a month or split weekends twice a month 8am – 4pm. When weekend days are worked you will receive the equivalent number of days off during Monday – Friday of that working week. Enhanced rates will be applied for all weekend work.

What you’ll be responsible for:
The Endoscopy Department are looking for a flexible individual to help with administration tasks. This will include reception duties, admitting and discharging patients in a friendly professional manner, answering telephone queries, scanning patient documents onto the relevant Endoscopy computer systems and assisting our Clinic Preparation Clerk gather clinic notes and documents.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Strong administration background
· Proficient in Microsoft office
· Allscripts system experience (desirable but not essential)
